Change:

The Assignment Breakdown Record Add\Edit screen was updated to reflect the S-275 Edits effective for 2011-2012.  The Validation Warnings on the Assignment Breakdown Record Add\Edit screen represent only a partial replication of the numerous edits performed by the S-275 Report process and are not directly integrated with the actual S-275 Edit Journal, S-275 Personnel Report, or the S-275 extract file.  The synchronization of these Validation Warnings with the actual SPI S-275 Edit Journal validations was inadvertently omitted from the S-275 annual updates released in the November 17, 2011 NSR.

WESPaC Breakdown Mass Change Utility

Change:

The Breakdown Mass Change Utility was modified to accept the selection of a building when the ‘Short Description’ and ‘Description’ for the building are not the same.  Previously, after selecting a building as a parameter on the ‘Breakdowns Mass Change’ screen in the Breakdown Mass Change Utility, the selection was not saved to the ‘Selection of Breakdown Information to Change’ screen if the 'Short Description' and the 'Description' for the building did not match.  Therefore, the building could not be used as a parameter when running this utility.

The ‘Warnings’ button on the Assignment Breakdown Record Add\Edit Screen was modified to include appropriate validation for the new Grade Group of “F” (4th Grade).  Previously, the ‘Warnings’ button was enabled and the ‘Incorrect Grade group for assignment’ warning was generated even if Grade Group “F” was valid for the assignment.

The Assignment Breakdown Report was modified so selection of specific Breakdown Code Types appropriately limits the main assignments and assignment breakdown records included on the report to only those matching the selected criteria. Previously, when specific Breakdown Code Types were selected, main assignments would appear on the report even if they had no breakdown records matching the breakdown selection criteria.  Also, all breakdown records for each selected assignment would appear on the report instead of only those matching the selected breakdown criteria.

Change:

Building code data that was temporarily stored in the HPMBRK-ASN-BRKDWN.WA-MISC-CHAR field was erased since WSIPC code was modified to use the new building code field of HPMBRK-ASN-BRKDWN.HAABLD-BLD-CODE.  Data stored in the temporary field was moved to the new field in the June 6, 2009 Release.

Approved enhancement.

Implementation Notes:

It is important to identify any custom reports and interfaces that are currently using the HPMBRK-ASN-BRKDWN.WA-MISC-CHAR field and modify them so that they use the new HPMBRK-ASN-BRKDWN.HAABLD-BLD-CODE field as the data stored in the HPMBRK-ASN-BRKDWN.WA-MISC-CHAR field was removed.

WA Feature Set code associated with Assignment Breakdowns was modified to use the new building code field, HPMBRK-ASN-BRKDWN.HAABLD-BLD-CODE, rather than HPMBRK-ASN-BRKDWN.WA-MISC-CHAR.  Building code data that currently resides in the HPMBRK-ASN-BRKDWN.WA-MISC-CHAR field is also being copied to the new HPMBRK-ASN-BRKDWN.HAABLD-BLD-CODE.

Notes:

• Invalid data conditions cause a new "Warnings" button to become active on the Add\Edit screen.  Messages can be viewed and dumped to Excel from the Warnings browse screen opened by clicking the button.  The flagging of invalid data conditions is informational only and will not prevent adding, editing, or saving of Breakdown information.

• New checkbox on the Account Selection screen lets users auto-populate Program and Activity values from the Account Code to the Breakdown Add\Edit screen.  Use of this checkbox will overwrite any previously existing Program and Activity values on the Breakdown screen; Program and Activity will be updated to match the selected Account Code when possible, otherwise the field(s) will be reset to blank.  Default is to auto-populate when no Program or Breakdown values exist on the Breakdown Add\Edit screen, and not to auto-populate when one or both of those fields contains a value.
