Feature: |
Hours\day Decimal format |
Remedy Ticket: |
71113 |
Change: |
The assignment screen was modified to allow the entry of hours per day in a decimal format. |
Reason: |
The legacy HR system used a decimal format for hours per day. Clients were used to this format and desired the same ability in WESPaC. |

Feature: |
FTE Accuracy |
Remedy Ticket: |
71113 |
Change: |
A data field was added (but not visible on the screen) to track the seconds per day. |
Reason: |
By tracking the assignment to the nearest second per day rather than the nearest minute per day (as was done previously), the client will be able to enter a desired FTE. Previously the client would enter the desired FTE, the system would calculate the hours per day to the closest minute, then recalculate the FTE. Sometimes the FTE was recalculated to a different value because rounding to minutes per day was not accurate enough. |

Feature: |
Save Calc FTE |
Remedy Ticket: |
90120 |
Change: |
Save "Calculated FTE" (hpmasn-assignments.hpmasn-fte-calc) value on screen exit; initially populate the database field by calculating field value for all existing records. |
Reason: |
"Calculated FTE" value was being calculated on each screen entry and the value discarded on screen exit, making reporting on the field impossible. Saving the field value allows it to be used in Report Builder reports and etc. |
