Release:

Version 02.05.06.1, August 13, 2005

Feature:

New Edit Message Added to Retirement Calculation & Retirement Verify to Check for Invalid Start or End Dates

Remedy Ticket:

65191

Change:

Edit error added to check for possible erroneous dates entered

Message 50 will be produced on the WESPaC Payroll Exception report. The edit checks to see if the Paid Date range or the Work Date range on the contract maintenance screen is:

  • less than the payroll period end date minus two years or

  • greater than the payroll period end date plus two years.

Reason:

An erroneous date in the Contract Work Start Date range caused the payroll process to lock up because of a table overflow. The table size was exceeded because too much data was trying to be created based on the bad date.

Menu:

Human Resources\Profile\Con\Flx tab\Edit button to see date ranges on the Contract Maintenance screen.
