Change:

The Deductions and Benefits Add\Edit screens were modified to allow districts to set a monthly minimum and monthly maximum for deductions and benefits. This will facilitate the districts’ ability to support union dues (PSE) which are based on a percentage of the employee's pay, but must be greater than a minimum amount and less than a maximum amount per month.

Reason:

Approved enhancement.

Change:

The payroll system is now able to calculate Oregon State Income Tax.

Reason:

Requested by many agencies bordering Oregon.

Menu:

  • Human Resources\Employee Profile\Ded\Ben

Implementation Note:

Clients will need to add Oregon to the SA\FM\FM Payroll Tax Information, add the new Deduction code, add the Deduction code to employees’ Ded\Ben tab, and apply the deduction to the appropriate pay records.

Deductions\Benefits tab -- Employee Profile Retirement Status Data Manipulation

Change:

A data manipulation will be run on all agency employees to properly set the (not viewable) Retirement Status flag.

Reason:

Having the Retirement Status flag set properly will allow the client the ability to copy the default retirement deduction and benefit controls within an employee’s Ded\Ben tab.
