The check writing program was changed to use the more modern programming from Skyward to bring WESPaC in-line with other Skyward clients nationwide. |

Reason: |
WSIPC has been using older printing software until now because we did not have the printing infrastructure in place, i.e. PowerMerge (software). New software (PowerMerge) was required for the printing of 2005 1099 and W-2 forms. This same software is used for the printing of payroll checks. Additional changes would have been necessary to maintain the old check writing software if the new software was not adopted. |

Implementation Note: |
This implementation will remove the four drop-down options from the Print Checks icon. On choosing the Print Checks icon, the client will have to set up some printing text and make print parameter selections. This is a one time set up. |
