Retirement Adjustments Report

Change:

The Retirement Transmittal process was modified to prevent the report period from being populated on retirement adjustments that are marked ”Do Not Report to DRS.”  Previously, retirement adjustments that were marked ”Do Not Report to DRS” were being populated with a report period on the Retirement Adjustments screen even though they weren’t reported. The Retirement Adjustments Report was modified accordingly. Both the Retirement Adjustments screen and report were also modified to display the Check date associated with processed adjustments.

Change:

  1. Two columns were added to the report:

  1. Do not Report to DRS - if checked (true), the adjustment transaction is not reported to DRS.  The transaction only is applied to the retirement history transactions.  The transactions will continue to affect the persons pay, deduction, or benefit.

  2. Include in Retirement Calculation &endash; if checked (yes), and the adjustment is associated with a contract, the adjustment will be included with the contract’s transactions and associated balancing.  If unchecked (no), then the adjustment will be processed independent of any associated contact.

  1. A Comment text-box was added to the report.

Reason:

  1. Two columns:

  1. Allows the client the ability to send or not send adjustment transactions to DRS.  Sometime DRS will reject a previously sent transaction.  The client can create an adjustment for the rejected transaction, don’t send it do DRS, and have the same information in the retirement history file that DRS has on account for the person.

  2. Allows the client the ability to include or exclude adjustments from the retirement balancing calculations for contracts.

 

  1. The Comment box can contain any reference notes the client desires to explain the need\purpose for the adjustment transaction.
