WESPaC & WISE GASB54 Phase II:  Close Year Process

Change:

For both WESPaC and WISE, the Close Year Process has been modified to update the Beginning Balances of GL 889 with the corresponding GL 890 Ending Balances for Fund Types CPF, DSF, ASB, TVF, PPT, PRM, and PTF.  In WESPaC, the Beginning\Ending Balances Audit has been modified the same way; updating the Beginning Balances of GL 889 with the corresponding GL 890 Ending Balances for the same funds.

Reason:

To accommodate the GASB54 rules for FY 2010.

WISE Budget Status Report fix

Change:

Changed the calculation in the Fund Balance, Fund 9, Differences section of the Budget Status Report.

Reason:

Revenue 9900 “Differences” were being calculated if there were dollars in the “Annual Budget” and “Actual for Month” columns due to incorrectly adding the “Actual for Month” in with the “Annual Budget”.

In both WISE and WESPaC, GL 535 and 536 (with appropriate SPI Item Numbers) was opened for FY 2008 forward, and GL 905 was closed for FY 2008 forward.

Reason:

The flags were not set correctly for FY 2008.

WISE & WESPaC F196 OSPI Export Change

Change:

Export changes needed to be made in both WISE and WESPaC to accommodate the new FTP process OSPI is implementing the beginning of September 2009.

Reason:

OSPI is changing the way they collect the F196 files.  They will be using a secure FTP process.

Feature:

Aprecon1.dat fix

Change:

The modification to Aprecon1.dat was removed so the King County Treasurer format is once again set to the desired six digit format.

Reason:

Last month, a modification was made to Aprecon1.dat to increase the King County Treasurer format to eight digits.  Upon further investigation, it was determined this format needed to be returned to the six digit format.  A quick fix was put into place already, but this will correctly remove the initial modification.

Feature:

County Reconciliation File Corrupting Warrant Numbers (WISE)

Change:

Fixed the County Recon file to prevent it from corrupting warrant numbers in the recon file if a user backed out before completion or if network error.

Reason:

If the user backed out from certain menu levels, or a network error occurred then a .SAV file was left which didn't have millennium or warrant length reformatting such that warrant numbers were left with 9 digits.
