Account Code Lookup by Dimension

Change:

The Account Code Lookup functionality in the web has been modified as follows:

  • The Account Code Lookup By Dimension icon is now available anywhere the Account lookup field is available.

  • When the user enters the dimension value from the Account Code Lookup By Dimension window,  the cursor automatically tab to the next dimension when it reaches the end of the field.

  • The Account Code Lookup By Dimension automatically prefills to zero on tab.

  • The Account Code Lookup By Dimension can be set to be the default  account code lookup view by configuring the setting in the User Preference screen.

Reason:

This new feature is prioritized and funded through the WSIPC Enhancement process..

Feature:

Generate Plan Detail WC Calculation

Change:

Assignments with partial hours in the total hours now have WC calculation on the total hours on the assignment.

Reason:

Previously, partial hours were dropped from the calculation. If the total assignment hours were 1270.5, WC was calculated on 1270 hours.

Corrected an issue where the utility was not running for the selected plan.

Reason:

In some cases, the assignment information from the Position Control was not copied to the Assignment Breakdown record.

Corrected an issue where the actual WC calculation was based on the calendar hours instead of the assignment hours in some cases.

WC calculation was overstated

Generate Plan Detail:  Workers' Comp Calculate

Change:

Generate Plan Detail no longer generates null values for WC average employees when all assignments have zero hours.  The amount is now zero.  A new warning has been added to the Data Validation Report indicating when an employee’s WC benefit amount totals zero for all assignments in the plan.

Change:

Generate Plan Detail now calculates Workers' Comp for Vacant assignments based on the Actual method if a benefit code with a Tax Type of Workers' Comp is attached to the assignment.

Reason:

Previously an appserver error was generated calculating Workers’ Comp on vacant assignments.

Retirement System and Type Codes

Change:

  1. Changed the description for Retirement Type Code 97 to "T1 Retiree, any position" in Systems T and E.

  2. Added an error message if Type Code 71 is used with System T and Plan 0 which reads "Type Code 71 is not valid with Plan 0."

  3. Added an error message if Type Code 32 is used with System E and Plan 0 which reads "Type Code 32 is not valid with Plan 0."

Reason:

  1. For a more accurate description.

  2. Type Code 71 is invalid with Plan 0.

  3. Type Code 31 is invalid with Plan 0.
