SN/EM Assignment Cloning

Change:

The ability to clone assignments has been added to each area where assignments can be added within Employee Management and Salary Negotiations. Cloning as assignment populates all available fields in Assignment Details, Salary Information, Payroll Information, Breakdown Information,  Add-ons, and Ded/Ben Information and saves the data.  Changes can be made to the cloned assignment by accessing the assignment in edit mode.  

Reason:

This new feature prioritized and funded through the WSIPC enhancement process.

Change:

Removed a warning for an incorrect grade group on the Assignment and Position Control, Assignment Breakdown screens.  

Reason:

In some cases, an invalid warning message was displayed for an assignment that had a correct grade group combination.

Change:

Updated the utility with new options to mass change the following areas in the Assignment/Position Calendar Information section:

• Number Days

• Decimal Hours Per Day

• Do not use Calendar to Calc FTE

• Use FTE instead of Calendar FTE

Feature:

Copy SPI Code to Asn Breakdown Utility

Change:

Removed the utility "Copy SPI code to Asn Breakdown" from the Data Validation, S-275, Mix Factor and SPI Salary Exhibit report processes.  

Reason:

The utility was created to copy the SPI Codes to the Assignment Breakdown record.  This was an extra step in the reporting process that was no longer necessary for most districts and slowed down the reporting process.

Implementation Note:

This utility can still be run on an as needed basis by following the menu paths noted above.
