In the Core Student Record System (CSRS) Data Manual for 2004-2005, and in the Bulletin 024-04 dated April 20, 2004, OSPI stated that CSRS will replace the P-105A data collection process beginning October, 2004. As a result, the P-105A option was removed from the WESPaC Student system menus on August 20, 2004.
Historically, the School Enrollment Report (Form SPI P-105A) reported unduplicated enrollment by grade level, gender, and racial/ethnic origin in the state of Washington. The information was required from each public school in the state and was routed to the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). The data was required for many state and federal end-of-year reports, as well as the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) program. The reports are distributed widely to state agencies, the Legislature, and the general public, and are available at the OSPI Web site. Reports were due twice a year, reporting enrollment as of October 1 and April 1.
