This utility process may be accessed from the Employee Management, Salary Negotiations, and Employee Profile buttons.
Use it to summarize education and experience detail amounts into totals that are consistent with OSPI calculation rules for reporting. The process summarizes the detail amounts through a date you specify into summary totals and stores the totals in the Employee Summary (WA001Employee Summary) table.
Once calculated, details of education and experience may be used for Washington reporting, including the S-275, F-195, and Mix Factor reports. The process may also be used whenever this information is needed by a district office.
There are several things to consider in using this utility:
The utility calculates values that are stored in the Washington Employee Summary (WA001EmployeeSummary) table, and does not affect the output of any standard WESPaC reports.
The running of WESPaC reports does not affect the values contained in the WA001EmployeeSummary table.
The values of the calculation are viewable only through Report Builder, Results, or other report writing programs.
