2 Exception Report

The exception report will display first if errors or warnings exist. The verification report will follow.

 

Employees that have errors on the exception report will not be processed in the mass add or mass edit process. The exception report will display "Employees with errors will not be processed." a few lines below the last exception. The message will only display if errors exist. The message will not display if only warnings exist.

 

The exception report lists employees by name key and employee name, displaying the following error messages and warnings:

 

Possible Messages for Mass Add

Meaning

Error – Employee already has <system/plan> as an active retirement profile.

The employee has the same active retirement member profile as the system/plan being added.

Warning – Employee also has <system/plan> as an active retirement profile.

The employee already has an active retirement member profile that is different from the system/plan being added.

Possible Messages for Mass Edit

Meaning

Error – Employee already has <system/plan> as an active retirement profile.

The employee already has an active retirement member profile as the system/plan being reactivated.

Eligibility End Date Being Reset to Blank:

If the check box is checked for the Eligibility End Date field, the mass process will make changes to the most recent inactive retirement profile (the one with the latest end date).

Error – Employee does not have <system/plan> as an <inactive/active> retirement profile.

Note: This error message is only valid when employees have been individually selected on the selections screen versus selecting a range or other method.

The employee does not have a retirement member profile for the system/plan being updated.

Error – Entered Eligibility End Date of <MM/DD/CCYY> is less than employee’s Eligibility Start Date of <MM/DD/CCYY>.

The employee’s Eligibility End Date should be greater than or equal to the Eligibility Start Date.

Error – Choice Code is invalid without Choice Date.

Choice Date and Choice Code must exist together. If one field exists, then the other must be there also.

Error – Choice Date is invalid without Choice Code.
