Release:

Version 03.07.02.01.01, July 14, 2007

Feature:

Crosswalk errors for funds which are secondary instead of primary

Remedy Ticket:

112763

Change:

In the Fund drop-down box on the Modify Crosswalk Codes screen, only state-defined funds (for example, 10, 20) should appear. "Secondary" funds such as "11" or "25" should not appear. However, the Dimensions and Associated Crosswalks browse on the same screen should list the crosswalks for the secondary funds, based on the state-defined fund selected in the combo. For example, crosswalks for Fund 11, if it exists, should appear in the browse when Fund 10 is selected.

In the Validate Crosswalk Codes process, "secondary" funds (for example, 11, 25) no longer generate fund errors when a primary fund (for example, 10, 20) exists for them. Also, other errors for secondary funds (for example, A03, A04R) are listed under the primary fund, so users can go back and select the primary fund\dimension to correct the problem.

Reason:

There was no ability to correct crosswalk errors attributed to "secondary" funds

Release:

Feature:

Crosswalk Code Tables

Change:

The Crosswalk WA001SysXwalkDim4Grid and WA001SysXwalkDim5Grid tables, which govern the allowable account combinations dictated by SPI, have been changed to allow expenditure accounts with GL 536 to have zeros in the account string for dimensions 4 through 9.

Reason:

The crosswalk tables did not contain the proper GL 536 information and districts running the Verify Interdimension Compatibility report were receiving errors on any accounts containing this GL.

Release:

Version 03.06.06.01.04,  November 4, 2006

Feature:

Crosswalk Code Tables

Remedy Ticket:

101866

Change:

A change was made in the crosswalk tables for ESDs to include

  • Program 02 with Activities 60, 73, 75, 83, 84, 98, 99 in 2006.

  • Program 01, Activities 60, 73, 75, 83, 84, and 99 were closed, also for 2006.

  • Revenue code 7163 was added for LEA General Fund for 2006.

Reason:

Per Pam Peppers and Mike Dooley of OSPI, as of October 27th, 2006, it has been determined that a new Revenue Code, 7163,  needs to be added for F196 and F200 reporting of "interdistrict" revenues received when a district provides Promoting Academic Success services to students who reside in another school district.  This new revenue code needs to be available in Fiscal Year 2006-2007 and forward.

Release:

Version 03.06.01.1.5, April 8, 2006

Feature:

Crosswalk WA001SysXwalkCodes Table Update

Change:

This table will be updated to indicate only state reportable funds as active. This change is needed so that the crosswalk programs do not try to validate account codes that are not state reportable.

Reason:

Because funds that are not state reportable (fund 5, for example) were represented as active, the crosswalk validations were returning errors of "No Crosswalk found.".  These accounts have no crosswalk values and therefore should not be validated.

Menu:

Financial Mngmnt\Account Mngmt\State Processing

Release:

Version 03.06.01.1, March 4, 2006

Feature:

Validate Crosswalk Accounts

Change:

This change will allow crosswalks to process non state reportable funds correctly.

Reason:

The Validate Crosswalk Accounts Report was stating that the crosswalk was missing for funds that do not need crosswalk accounts.  This error would keep the report from ever validating and the client would not be able to produce the F195, F196, and F200 reports.
