Change:

The WESPaC Experience Import Utility was modified to allow import when the file’s name key contains an apostrophe.  Previously, the utility failed if the import file’s name key contained an apostrophe.  

Reason:

Defect correction.

Change:

The process was modified to correctly use upload files with fixed length data.

Reason:

The process did not upload fixed length data files.

Change:

Experience Import was enhanced to provide the client the option of including multiple Experience Summary Categories (District In-State, District Out-of-State, Military, and etc.) on each experience record being imported.

Reason:

The initial Experience Import release was provided with the ability to add only one Experience Summary Category per record.

Note:

When importing a list of records that have multiple Experience Summary Categories, each record must have a matching number of Experience Summary Categories associated with it.  Most of the time the records being imported will have a matching number of Experience Summary Categories and this won’t be an issue.  For the cases where this is not true, the file will need to be split into multiple imports (for example, all of the records to be imported that have one Experience Summary Category will go in one file, all of the records to be imported that have two Experience Summary Categories will go into another file, and etc.)  Each file will then need to be imported separately.

Change:

This is a new process. This application allows the client the ability to import Experience records from an external source. The file can be a fixed length or use other delimiters. The file must meet specific field requirements, but the data fields can be in any order.

Security needs to enabled for the appropriate staff.
