Release:

Version 03.07.10.02.01, November 8, 2008

Change:

  • Corrected utility’s checking of the "Do not use calendar to find Calc FTE" checkbox

  • Corrected utility’s checking of the "Use FTE instead of Calc FTE to calculate pay amounts." checkbox

Reason:

  • "Do Not Use Calendar": utility will check or leave blank this box as appropriate.  Previously box was always being checked.

  • "Use FTE instead of Calc FTE": utility will never check this box if one or more Breakdowns of an Assignment are duty suffix 0.  Checking box inappropriately causes incorrect calculation of Position FTE and breaks end-of-year experience rolling.

Implementation Notes:

  • New Position and Assignment table entries populate the tables’ Description fields only. If agency wishes a value in the State Code fields they will need to add these manually after the Import is complete.

  • The SN plan creation process is not able to update the list of available plans on the SN main screen.  To see the new SN plan after Import has completed, user must exit Salary Negotiations and come back in.

  • Import Verification Report has been modified to allow suppression of Source Assignment lines.

  • Advanced User Mode is a password-protected feature, intended for datacenter use.  Password will be available from WSIPC Finance Membership Services.

Implementation Notes:

  • This utility is being released as a BETA.  It has been tested to a reasonable degree of confidence but further revision or modification may occur in future releases.

  • This is a partial implementation of the utility.  Import processing is enabled only as far as the Verification Report with this release.  This BETA release of the utility will allow agencies to see how Assignments will be distributed among new Positions and Position Control Records, but will not actually create new Salary Negotiations plans.
