Workers' Comp Hours Data Manipulation

Release:

Version 02.05.06.2, November 5, 2005

Change:

Create reversing values in payroll history records for Workers’ Compensation hours and other Washington only data fields.

Reason:

Since August 15, the Payroll Quick Void (check) did not create reversing values for Workers’ Compensation hours, thus the next payroll did not calculate WC hours.  Also, the Payroll Payables Reversal process did not create reversing values for several other Washington only data fields.

Menu:

The Workers' Compensation Report may be accessed from the following locations:

  • Human Resources\Payroll\Reporting\State\Federal\Payroll\Workers' Compensation Report

  • Human Resources\Profile\\State\Federal\Payroll\Workers' Compensation Report

Implementation Note:

Clients should rerun the Workers’ Compensation report for the quarter ending September 30, 2005 to report the correct hour values.

The next payroll process will recalculate Workers’ Compensation hours to their correct values. Employees that had payroll quick voids or payroll payable reversals after August 15, 2005 will have an increased to their Workers’ Compensation payroll deduction and benefit for the November payroll.
