Release:

Version 04.09.06.01.01, October 10, 2009

Feature:

Workers’ Compensation Self-Insured Overpayment Rate

Issue #:

210241

Change:

Workers’ Compensation rate fields and reporting were modified to accommodate the Self-Insured Overpayment Rate.  The “Use WC Self-Insured Overpayment Rate” check box on the Payroll Configuration General Options screen is now an operative indicator of whether or not an entity wants to use the Overpayment Reimbursement Fund assessment in the Workers’ Compensation functionality.  Self-Insured districts that are storing the WC Rate for the Employee Overpayment Reimbursement Fund on the Workers’ Compensation Rate Table should check this option to indicate that the WC Employee Medical Rate field is being used for the Employee Overpayment Reimbursement Fund Rate.  This will ensure corresponding screens and reports display appropriate labels and headings.

Reason:

Approved enhancement.

Release:

Version 02.05.06.3, January 7, 2006

Feature:

Workers' Compensation Rate Table (Rates in Salary Negotiations)

Remedy Ticket:

78123

Change:

The program was modified to find the most recent workers’ compensation rate.

Benefit calculations in Salary Negotiations will use the latest workers’ compensation rate in the plan’s rate table that is equal to or less than the date of the plan.

The appropriate rates in effect as of the report start date will display at the end of each rate category in the Workers’ Compensation Report.

Reason:

When more than one workers’ compensation rate existed for the same WC Code with different effective dates for a plan in Salary Negotiations, the benefit calculation was using the oldest rate.

The oldest rates were displayed for each rate category in the Workers’ Compensation Report.
