Employee Contracts

Release:

Version 04.10.01.00.00, April 10, 2010

Feature:

WESPaC Employee Contracts Mass Change Utility

Issue #:

220054

Change:

The Employee Contracts Mass Change Utility was enhanced to allow clients to mass change Employee Contract Work Stop and Start Dates.  Previously, there was no way to mass update Employee Contract Work Start\Stop Dates from within Employee Profile and clients had to adjust calendars and work dates in EMS and then use the Profile Export\Import process or request a data manipulation to update employee profile contract work dates.  The enhancement to the utility includes an additional Selection Parameter of Calendar and an option of Mass Change Work Start\Stop Dates which enables clients to efficiently make necessary changes in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as snow days.

Reason:

Approved enhancement.

Release:

Version 03.06.06.01.01, September 9, 2006

Feature:

Employee Contract Maintenance

Remedy Ticket:

79381 (73881 is a duplicate)

Change:

Skyward added a prompt that asks if you want to use the filter values from the previous dialog.

Reason:

Users were under the impression that the filters on the main dialog would apply to the retro-pay calculations when in reality the retro-pay calculations have their own set of filters.

Menu:

Implementation Notes:

There is still a small issue with the new feature. The first time you answer "Yes"  to the Load Filter Values prompt to use filters from the Contract Browse, the filters are not being carried forward. If you close and choose the option again, selecting "Yes" to load the contract browse filters works the second time.

Change:

Skyward added a prompt that asks if you want to use the filter values from the previous dialog.

Reason:

Implementation Notes:

We found a couple of last minute peculiarities with this. The first time you answer Yes to the prompt to use filters from the previous dialog, the filters are not being carried forward. This works after the first time. The second issue we noticed is that if you click the Options button and select Calculate Retro-Pay you are not prompted to load filter values from the previous dialog unless you have completed a retro-pay calculation.
