Qualifying invoices must meet the following criteria:
The vendor’s invoice includes Compensating Tax.
The vendor’s invoice has been paid and the payment has been updated (A/P Invoice status = History).
The Compensating Tax transaction has not been selected for payment.
The vendors invoice Cash Account is the same as the selected cash account.
The Invoice Cutoff Date specified, the vendor’s invoice date is on or before the Cutoff Date entered.
Menu Path: Financial Mngmnt / A/P / Comp Tax / Pay Comp Tax.
From the Comp Tax Selection screen, from the Cash Account EEL, select a Cash Account.
Vendor invoices whose cash account matches this selection and has had compensating tax calculated, are selected.
Begin typing the Cash Account code in the Cash Account EEL. Select the Cash Account from the list that appears.
Click on the Cash Acct button.
The Bank Cash Accounts List screen opens.
From the Available Cash Accounts list, highlight the cash account Code you want to use.
Click the Select button.
Optionally, enter a Cutoff Date. Default is the current date.
Payment date = Warrant date.
The Cutoff Date looks at the vendor’s invoice payment date. Vendor invoices with a payment date prior to or equal to this date will be included in the selection.
Hint: To blank the date enter a ? in the field
If no value is entered in the Cutoff Date, all dates are be included in the selection as long as they meet the selection qualifications.
Click the Build button.
Invoices that match the Cash Account and are prior to or equal to the Cutoff Date are selected and displayed in the Invoices with Comp Tax Due list.
NOTE: Use the Reset button to clear the Invoices with Comp Tax Due list if the invoices displayed are not as expected.
