Version 02.05.06.1, August 13, 2005

Remedy Ticket:

Change:

  • Added the ability to recalculate the Benefit FTE based on an entered hours per year amount. The recalculate process can be for each amount type (not calculated or percent types) benefit on each assignment.

  • The Benefit FTE is calculated for the selected benefits based on Assignment Total Hours divided by the entered hours per year.

Example:

  • 1,576 total assignment hours divided by 2,080.00 creates .7577 as the Benefit FTE for the selected benefits.

  • 637 total assignment hours divided by 1,440.00 creates .4424 as the Benefit FTE for the selected benefits.

Reason:

Provide a method to change benefit FTE based on an hours per year amount for selected benefits for each assignment.

Note:

This process in Salary Negotiations is different from the recalculate Benefit FTE process in Employee Management. Salary Negotiations can have benefits for each assignment and Employee Management does not have benefits.

The recalculate process in Salary Negotiations does not display a verification report. After the process is finished, the changes can be viewed on these reports:

  • Benefit Distribution Summary Report

  • Plan Detail Report
