Release:

Version 03.06.06.02.03, January 25, 2007

Remedy Ticket:

Change:

A separate report has been created to forecast new payroll accounts that will be created, and to designate whether their creation will fail due to noncompliance with Equity Summary Account Management (ESAM) rules. The report runs just prior to the New Accounts Process Tracking report if the forecast payroll accounts checkbox is activated.  If there is a fatal error the account can be changed prior to running the payroll.

Note: Based on early customer feedback,  Sorting and Grouping capabilities should be added in the February Standard Release.

Reason:

If a payroll being run will add new accounts, and if those accounts do not comply with Equity Summary Account Management (ESAM) rules, the payroll process may abort with an error. The goal is to allow only Finance Managers to manually add or modify account information.

Menu:

  • Financial Mngmnt\Account Mngmt\Audits\Account Management folder\New Account Process Tracking Report

  • Human Resources\Payroll\Cur. Payroll\Pre-Verify

  • Human Resources\Payroll\Cur. Payroll\Post-Verify

Change:

In Financial Management, HR\Payroll\Cur. Payroll\Pre-Verify and Post-Verify, a new check box and report option for "New Accounts" is now available with the October standard release. An "Under Construction" screen was released last month as a place holder for the report. The report will serve as an audit tool for process tracking, and allow an agency to see all new accounts that are added to the system within a selection range, the date and time it was added, who it was added by and the source\origin application it was created from. (See note below)

Reason:

Clients need to be able to see all new accounts that are added to the system, the user who added the account, date and time of add, and source from which the account was added.

Menu:

  • Financial Mngmnt\Account Mngmt\Audits\Account Management folder\New Account Process Tracking Report

  • Human Resources\Payroll\Cur. Payroll\Pre-Verify

  • Human Resources\Payroll\Cur. Payroll\Post-Verify

Note:

This new functionality is being released as part of the Equity Account Management changes, and addresses the requirement to be able to identify new accounts added to the system, as well as the origin of those accounts.

This release version of the report does not show the sub-source of the transaction (AR, AP, PR, JE). This change will occur in a future release. The report selection screen will also be changed to list the sub-sources in the Source\Origin range fields.
