The Site Codes lists sites and the tax district assigned to that site. The tax district within which a building is located defines the tax rate for the building.
NOTE: The Site Codes table is shared with the Fixed Asset System.
Adding a Tax District to a Site
Rarely will you have to add a new site to the Site Codes table. Site Codes need to be added when you open a new building. Generally you will edit an existing record.
Menu Path: Financial Mngmnt / A/P / Comp Tax / SEtup
On the Setup screen, highlight Sites under Options.
Click the Run button. The Site Codes screen opens.
In the Maintenance frame, click the Add button.
The Site, Site Description, and Tax District fields are activated and blank.
Enter the Site number.
Enter the Site Description.
Enter the Tax District:
In the Tax District EEL begin typing the tax district code. Select from the list.
Click the Tax District button to display a list of Tax Districts.
The Tax District Setup screen opens:
On the Tax District Setup screen, from the Tax Districts list, highlight the Tax Dist you want to use.
Click the Select button to select the code and return to the Site Codes screen.
Click the # Save button.
The new Site code displays on the Site Information list.
Click the Close button to return to the Setup screen.
Click the Close button to exit Comp Tax Setup.
!! WARNING !!: The Site table is shared with Fixed Assets. Be careful when you make changes to this table.

On the Setup screen, highlight Sites under Options.
Click the Run button. The Site Codes screen opens.
From the Site Information list, highlight the Site you want to change.
HINT: Use the Find Code Lookup or the Prev or Next buttons to move through the list.
In the Maintenance frame, click the Edit button.
NOTE: You cannot update the Site number.
As necessary, change the Site Description.
As necessary, change or remove the Tax District.
Click the # Save button.
The Site code changes display in the Site Information list.
Click the Close button to return to the Setup screen.
Click the Close button to exit Comp Tax Setup.
!! WARNING !!: The Site table is shared with Fixed Assets. Be careful when you delete Site information.

On the Setup screen, highlight Sites under Options.
Click the Run button. The Site Codes screen opens.
From the Site Information list, highlight the Site code you want to delete.
HINT: Use the Find Code Lookup or the Prev or Next buttons to move through the list.
In the Maintenance frame, click the Delete button.
The Delete Confirmation screen opens asking if you want to delete the site record.
NOTE: If the site code is in use, it cannot be deleted. The Delete failure screen opens indicating where the site code is being used (AP, AR, etc).
Click the Yes button to delete the Site and return to the Site Codes screen.
Click the Close button to return to the Setup screen.
Click the Close button to exit Comp Tax Setup.
At the moment this does not work.

On the Setup screen, highlight Sites under Options.
Click the Run button. The Site Codes screen opens.
Click the Report button. Another Site Codes screen opens.
As needed, enter a low and high Site Range. Sites within this range are included on the report.. If no range is set, all sites will be included on the report.
Click the Print button. The Output Destination screen opens.
The system prompts you to select a print option. You can choose to print the reports to screen, to a printer, or to save the report for later viewing.
Click the OK button.
Click the Close button to return to the Site Codes screen.
Click the Close button to return to the Setup screen.
Click the Close button to exit Comp Tax Setup.
