Monthly Case Load Report (Special Education)

Release:

Version 05.12.10.00.22, February 20, 2013 - addendum release

Change:

  1. Updated program detail report to display student default entity

  2. Created new legend for marking student with current IEP but expired placement

  3. Use the Case Load Provider name "Teacher Not Assigned" if no primary teacher is assigned to a district service program.

Reason:

  1. Previously, the service entity ID is being display in the report.

  2. If the Include Expired IEP option is selected, student with current IEP but expired placement is being marked as "Student’s IEP has Expired" instead

  3. District service program with no primary teacher assigned is not being included in the report

Change:

Corrected the report to include all services and programs defined in the Special Education Configuration.

Reason:

The Monthly Case Load Report is not including all services and programs even if the Skyward template is used.

Change:

Modified a checkbox on the parameter screen to read "Include Expired IEPs" rather than "Include Expired IEPs\Evaluations."  Additionally, references to expired evaluations on the report output were removed.

Reason:

The report selection does not include expired evaluations so the previous description of the checkbox was confusing.

Change:

System-wider user can now access their previously saved Monthly Caseload Report in PaC.

Reason:

Users were unable to access their saved Monthly Caseload reports   after the June 2010 Standard Release.

Change:

  1. Modify the report to include student whose IEP begin date <= effective date if the "Include Expired IEPs\Evaluations" option is selected.

  2. Update the report informational text that displays at the bottom of the page to say "Student evaluation's IEP is expired"

Reason:

  1. Currently, the report is only selecting students where IEP begin date < effective date if the "Include Expired IEPs\Evaluations" option is selected.

  2. The old text is vague and misleading.

Change:

  • Change to recognize Active\Inactive students correctly and report based on the selection indicated in the range screen.

  • Removed the coding that tries to create a test file.

  • Changed the page break to not allow orphan sub-headings.

Reason:

  • Inactive students were being included when the Active option was selected.

  • User received an error message when a test file was being created.

  • Sub-headings would appear at the bottom of the page with no students listed.
