Bank Names is used to set up Banks used by the district. Bank Names should be entered for every bank that your district uses.

From the Bank Names List screen, click the Add button. The Name Maintenance screen opens.
Enter the Name of the bank.
If the Bank’s name key already exists in the Name table, you are prompted by the Option to Select an Existing Name screen. This message is letting you know that another name exists with the same Name Key. You need to decide whether you want to display the list of other Names.
NOTE: It is important that you view this list as the Bank may already exist in the Name table. If it does, you can use that information for the Bank. This prevents duplication within the system and speeds up data entry. You will not have to add the address, etc to the Bank, as it comes from the existing Name Key record.

Complete any remaining information on the Name Maintenance screen as needed. Currently ACH and Routing Number information is not used in Financial Management.
Click the OK button to return to the Bank Names List screen.
Click the ACH button. The Bank Info Update screen opens.
Set Use ACH? to No.
Leave Routing Number all zeros.
In the Invoice Creation Info frame, set Create Invoice? to No.
Leave the Batch # field blank.
Set Invoice Type to Hold.
Set Acct Detail? to No.
Click the OK button to return to the Bank Names List screen.
Click the Close button.

On the Bank Names List screen, from the Available Banks list, highlight the Name Key of the bank that you want to change.
To change the Bank’s address, click the Edit button to the right of the Address field. The Name Maintenance screen opens.
Make any changes as necessary.
Click the OK button to return to the Bank Names List screen.
To change the Bank’s ACH information, click the ACH button. The Bank Info Update screen opens.
Make any changes as necessary.
Click the OK button to return to the Bank Names List screen.
Click the Close button.
You cannot delete a bank name if it is in use.

On the Bank Names List screen, from the Available Banks list, highlight the Bank’s Name Key to be deleted.
Click the Delete button.
An Information screen opens asking if you are sure you want to delete the bank from the Bank list.
Click the Yes button.
NOTE: If the Bank is being used it cannot be deleted. An Information screen opens indicating that it is in use and where.
You can run a report that displays the Bank Names.

On the Bank Names List screen, click the Report button. The Name Report For Selected Name Category screen opens.
As needed, enter a low and high Name Key. Bank Names within this Name Key range are included on the report provided they meet the other selection criteria.
As needed, enter a low and high Primary Area Code. Bank Names within this Primary Area Code range are included on the report provided they meet the other selection criteria.
As needed, enter a low and high Zip Code. Bank Names within this Zip Code range are included on the report provided they meet the other selection criteria.
As needed, enter a low and high Township. Bank Names within this Township range are included on the report provided they meet the other selection criteria.
As needed, enter a low and high Street number. Bank Names within this Street number range are included on the report provided they meet the other selection criteria.
Click the Print button. The Output Destination screen opens.
The system prompts you to select a print option. You can select to print the reports to screen, to a printer, or to save the report for later viewing.
Click the OK button.
Click the Close button to return to the Bank Names List screen.
