Grade From Codes:
The following Grade From codes are used in the reporting process and should not be changed or deleted from the Setup Codes Grades table:
P = Preschool
E = Elementary
F = Fourth Grade
K = Kindergarten
M = Middle
S = Secondary
Selection Parameters Screen:
You may select employees based on various Code Type choices in the Selection Parameters screen. However, further employee selections are only within the group already determined by the report logic.
A report could be generated that contains no data based on the additional selection options. The Mix Factor Report logic already selects employees based on the following criteria:
Description |
Duty Codes |
Certificated Instructional Base Contracts |
3n0, 4n0, 630, and 640 |
Program Title |
Program Number |
Basic Education |
01, 02, 31, 34, 45, and 97 |
Special Education |
21 |
All Other Programs |
00-99 not listed above State Institutions, programs "26", “43”, “56” and "59" are not being reported and are not included in All Other Programs. |
Certificate Number:
Only one certificate in the Employee Profile Master, Certifications display should be coded with the OSPI certification type code. If an employee has more than one certificate, only one should be assigned the Cert Type with Description of OSPI Certificate Number and St. Code of OSPI on the Employee Profile Master Credits tab in the Certifications display. If an employee has a basic education certificate number and a vocational education certificate number, then whichever certification the job requires should be designated with the Cert Type of OSPI Certificate Number and St. Code of OSPI.
The Current Certification field is not used for determining whether a certificate is an OSPI certificate. The factor that designates a certification record as an OSPI certificate is the presence of the Cert Type with Description of OSPI Certificate Number and St. Code of OSPI.
Valid Issue Date and Expiration Date combinations are also required to avoid the "No OSPI Certificate Found" message.
Possible valid date combinations are:
Expiration date >= "today" and Issue date <= "today"
Expiration date blank and Issue date <= "today"
Expiration date >= "today" and Issue date is blank
Expiration date blank and Issue date blank
All other date entry combinations will produce the “No OSPI Certificate number found” warning.
