The Extract Report displays data contained in the extract file, in addition to other data about a student. The Extract File is forwarded electronically to OSPI, and the printed report may be retained for your own records. Students on this report must have completed at least one qualifying historical vocational course during the reporting School Year that you enter when you run the report. The qualifying course must meet the following additional criteria: is identified as "V" for "Vocational" in Course.Course-Type-ID; (2) was taken in grades 9, 10, 11, or 12; and (3) does not have a status of "I" for "Inactive".
The Extract File contains information about students who completed one or more vocational courses during the reporting period, and whose data passes all edits. Data is summarized by Classification of Instructional Programs Code (CIP Code), and no individual course records are included in the Extract File.
The Extract Report includes the same students as in the Extract File, but lists all historical information about vocational courses completed in grades 9 through 12. That is, the Extract Report is not limited to courses completed during the reporting period, and does list individual course records. The report is sorted by Default Entity, Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial, Alphakey, CIP Code, School Year, Course data, Student Vocational Ed data, and Semesters or Terms within a school year.
