Student discipline records are counted in one or more columns on the Summary reports and the column assignments are identified on the Detail and Exception reports. The following criteria are used to determine the appropriate column(s):

 

Column 1 – Number of Special Education Students Removed to an Interim Alternative Setting by School Personnel and Number of Removals for Drugs, Weapons, or Bodily Injury:

Column 2 – Number of Special Education Students Subject to Removal Based on an ALJ Determination Regarding Likely Injury – Unduplicated Count of Students:

Column 3 – Number of Special Education Students with Out of School Suspension or Expulsion:

Column 4 – Number of Special Education Students with In-school Suspension:

Column 5 – Special Ed Students with Disciplinary Removals Reported in Columns 1 to 4:
