Step 2C, Test Details: Adding Rows

Note: Perform this step only when adding NEW test details.

  1. While still in the Test Maintenance screen, go to the bottom section of the screen. This is where you will add the specific test score elements that will make up the Test Detail.

    1. Order: This is the order in which rows appear on screens and reports. Enter the value in ascending order, beginning with "01".

    2. Row Code: Enter up to a seven-character code to represent the current row. Once a Row Code is entered, it cannot be modified.

    3. Short Description: This is for screen displays. Enter up to 15 characters.

    4. Long Description: This item prints on reports. Enter up to 30 characters.

    5. Level: This is a single-digit field, identifying the order of scores and sub-scores. For example, Math may be level "01", and Addition level "02". This makes Addition a sub-score of Math. All the WSIPC pre-defined Test Details use a level of "01".

  2. In order to identify the test score elements for each test, review the appropriate file layouts which follow Step 5 of the Test Score online documentation.

  3. Repeat these steps until you have added all needed Rows. Click OK to save your changes.

  4. Once all rows for your Section have been created, you can edit existing Sections from the Available Sections window located at the bottom of the main Test Maintenance screen.
