The District Exception Report for FTE is generated automatically when the P-223 process is run from entity 000. The system reviews the data of students who are active in any of the entities selected for the P-223 process. "Active" means that a student’s most recent entry/withdrawal record has an entry date that is on or earlier than the system date (student-ew.ew-date is LE system date) and a withdrawal date that is blank or is on or later than the system date (student-ew.withdrawal-date is blank or is GE the system date).
For such students, the data in all other entities (not only those selected for the process) is reviewed to determine if they are active in multiple entities with a combined FTE that exceeds a specific amount. The combined FTE criterion depends on whether a student is enrolled in any Skills Center courses. The student is put on the District Exception Report for FTE if:
A student is not enrolled in any Skills Center courses and the combined FTE from the multiple entities is greater than 1.00.
A student is enrolled in one or more Skills Center courses and the combined FTE from the multiple entities is greater than 1.60.
Students who are on the District Exception Report for FTE may also be on the District Exception Report for Default Entity, but are excluded from all other output in the P-223 process.
The ">" symbol next to a student’s alphakey identifies the student’s default entity.
A single report is created for the serving district.
Data is sorted by grade level, then alphabetically by student name. Within a student, sort is by entity number.
