The Entity Exception Report for Student Status Conflicts is generated automatically when the P-223 process is run (from any entity).
If Base P-223 on Schedule = No:
The system reviews data for all students in the entity. A student is put on the Entity Exception Report for Student Status Conflicts if the student’s entity status of Active or Inactive is not consistent with dates on the student’s most recent entry/withdrawal record. The student is excluded from the Summary report for the entity.
If Base P-223 on Schedule = Yes:
The system reviews data for all students in the entity.
If a student has a schedule, the student is put on the Entity Exception Report for Student Status Conflicts if the student’s entity status of Active or Inactive is not consistent with dates on the student’s most recent entry/withdrawal record. The student is excluded from the Summary report for the entity.
If a student does not have a schedule, the student is first put on the Entity Exception Report for Students without a Schedule. After that is corrected and the student does have a schedule, when the P-223 process is run again the student is put on the Entity Exception Report for Student Status Conflicts if the student’s entity status of Active or Inactive is not consistent with dates on the student’s most recent entry/withdrawal record. The student is excluded from the Summary report for the entity.
To determine whether a student has a status conflict, the student’s status for the entity is compared with the dates on the student’s most recent entry/withdrawal record. A status conflict exists if:
Entity status is Active and the withdrawal date is less than the system date (student-entity.student-status = A and student-ew.withdrawal-date LT system date)
Entity status is Active and the entry date is greater than the system date (student-entity.student-status = A and student-ew.ew-date GT system date)
Entity status is Inactive and the entry date is less than or equal to the system date and the withdrawal date is blank (student-entity.student-status = I and student-ew.ew-date LE system date and student-ew.withdrawal-date = blank)
Entity status is Inactive and the entry date is less than or equal to the system date and the withdrawal date is greater than to the system date (student-entity.student-status = I and student-ew.ew-date LE system date and student-ew.withdrawal-date GT system date)
The report is generated for each school within each resident district.
Data is sorted by grade level, then alphabetically by student name.
